The Gift of Creation

Unless you鈥檙e plugged into the French intellectual and philosophical scene, you鈥檝e almost certainly never heard of Fabrice Hadjadj 鈥 but one Hope College professor is working to change that. To introduce Hadjadj鈥檚 perspective on ecology to an English-speaking audience, Dr. Joshua Kraut is translating a collection of his essays and talks on that topic.

A community might be imagined as a mosaic 鈥 each part distinctive, yet existing in relation with others to create something more. The Phelps Scholars Program is a year-long academic/residential program for incoming freshmen interested in exploring topics related to diversity.

Biologist Thomas Bultman Receives Fulbright Award

Dr. Thomas Bultman, professor emeritus of biology at Hope College, has received a Fulbright-University of Turku Scholar Award to conduct research in Finland that he hopes will one day enhance food security around the world.
